When patients request discounts for aesthetic procedures, it’s essential to maintain your value and brand integrity. Hi, I’m Amy Anderson, practice management consultant. Let’s review three effective, real-world responses you can use when faced with a discount request.

1. Emphasize Value and Expertise

“We understand that price is an important consideration. What sets Dr. Gray apart is the combination of her impeccable results, the state-of-the-art technology and techniques she utilizes, and a safety record that ensures the best possible outcomes. Our pricing reflects the quality, safety, and expertise you’ll receive throughout your entire experience. Many patients find that the long-term value and peace of mind are well worth the investment.”

This approach shifts the conversation from price to the unique benefits your practice offers, helping patients understand why your services are worth the cost.

2. Offer Flexible financing Options (Not Discounts)

“While we don’t offer discounts on our procedures, we do provide flexible financing options with CareCredit to help fit cost into your budget. Would you like more information about that?"

By offering financing options (or solutions), you address cost concerns without lowering your price or diminishing your brand’s value

3. Add Value Instead of Discounting
