Sandy had a gnawing toothache that wouldn't go away. It was causing sleepless nights and hot and cold sensitivity throughout the day. “The pain was so bad that I was snapping at my husband regularly," she said. “It was affecting my marriage!"

Sandy knew something had to be done about the pain but didn't think she could afford to address the issue. Her husband said, "I understand that pain makes you cranky. So get out of the pain." He encouraged her to visit the dentist.

When Sandy went to the dentist, he told her she needed an immediate extraction. “I didn't know how I was going to pay for the procedure; I was in a tailspin!" she said.

After noticing Sandy's distress at the cost of the procedure, her dentist mentioned the CareCredit credit card as a possible solution for her financial predicament. He explained that if approved, Sandy could pay the procedure off over time with promotional financing.

She applied for her CareCredit credit card and scheduled another dentist appointment that would take care of her painful dental issues.

Within two weeks, that painful tooth and another one were gone. CareCredit came to the rescue. Sandy felt better and said she was happy to go out, see friends and eat again without pain. “And I really think it saved my marriage!" she said.

Sandy says the CareCredit credit card gave her peace of mind. “It made what I thought was impossible, possible," she said. “The process was easy and the mobile app is so intuitive. It's easy to use, keeps me on top of my balance and sends me reminders."

A year later, Sandy went back to the same dentist who suggested implants. “I didn't think it was possible that CareCredit would come through again but they did."
