In addition to her journalism career, Jordan is the author of six acclaimed books on the craft of writing, including the best-selling “Make a Scene” and “How to Write a Page Turner.”

Jordan earned a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts from Sonoma State University and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing and literature from Bennington College.
